Before Laura Opie took to the stage as Little Red Riding Hood in 2nd Grade, she wrote and directed shows on her back porch, enlisting her younger brothers and friends to entertain guests. She added Goldilocks and a witch in McBeth to her acting credits during her elementary years and then moved to work behind the scenes to help more dedicated theater friends with school and community productions whenever time allowed. Her work with Dream Tale Puppets started with editing and writing, but her love of puppets soon drew her into voice acting and puppet building. She hopes to be able to make more time for puppets in years to come.
