Dream Tale Puppets will present “Three Little Pigs” for the enjoyment of children and families at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Falmouth (270 Gifford Street, at the intersection with Jones Road), on Saturday, March 9, at 4:00 p.m. All are invited to stay for puppet-building workshop after the show. The event is free.
“Three Little Pigs” is a charming 25-minute-long puppet show, created with a young audience in mind. Adventures of well known children’s characters from a traditional tale take place on top and around a cloth covered table and among the audience. Performers use four rod puppets (piglets and mother pig) and one hand puppet (wolf), and a bunch of homebuilding materials. There are two performers – one narrating and giving voices to the puppets, and another bringing puppet to life through motion. Performers are: Jacek Zuzanski (puppeteer) and Robert Bock (narrator and voice actor).
The presentation is a part of the series, the program supported in part by a grant from The Falmouth Cultural Council, local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
